The Hualapai Ranch is our take on an old west town. As the hub of West Rim activities, it’s the perfect place to spend the night before or after experiencing all the things to do at the West Rim. In addition to its fantastic location, the Hualapai Ranch offers exciting recreational activities, a gift shop, and an on-site food hall. Prepare for a day of fun, or relax under the stars after a long day spent horseback riding, ziplining, floating the river, and walking the Skywalk.

Stay in a Rustic Cabin

Hualapai Ranch offers rustic cabins available for overnight stays. Occupancy types includes Single/Double, Triple, Quad, and Cabin Suite. Our cabins feature all of the essentials for a comfortable stay including a queen bed, bathroom with shower, exclusive toiletries, hanging space, and a porch ideal for watching the sunrise and sunset. All cabins are non-smoking. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the premises.

Hualapai Ranch Amenities & Recreational Activities

In addition to our overnight accommodations, Hualapai Ranch offers wagon rides, an animatronic Shootin’ Gallery, and free magic and gun fight shows. Horseback rides are available for purchase on-site at Hualapai Ranch.

Guests can also have photo opportunities with Hualapai Tribe members, lasso lessons, shopping at the Walapai Trading Post, and a chance to conquer the mechanical bull. The Walapai Trading Post offers everything from cowboy hats and moccasins to old west toys and other Western merchandise.

For a more thrilling adventure, take to the sky on the only Zip Line at the Grand Canyon, The Zip Line at Grand Canyon West.

Note: Per company policy only documented federal service animals are allowed to accompany guests. Pets must be housed in a kennel during guest visit. Kennel Services are available through the Walapai Trading Post. The kennel fee is $25.

Street Performers Daily 8:30am – 6:30pm


The Food Hall is your hub for authentic, Western-style food and great entertainment. Stop in each morning for a hot breakfast. Come back later for a hot lunch or dinner and enjoy live music from 3pm to 8pm. We also have the Root Beer Saloon where you can pick up ice cream, sodas, ice cream floats, and other beverages to cool you off in the summer heat.

  • The Zip Line is approximately 3,200 feet over two separate lines.
  • The Zip Line reaches speeds of up to 40 mph.

  • To ride the Zip Line, riders must complete and sign a waiver.
  • Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian.
