Grand Canyon Zipline: Fly 40 MPH Over Grand Canyon West!
If the view from the rim takes your breath away, just wait until you’re soaring above it. Grand Canyon West is the only place in the entire canyon where you can zipline, making it a bucket list item for thrill seekers.
You’ll launch from a high platform at Hualapai Point and soar 2,100 feet across a spectacular side canyon, suspended 700 feet above the rocky floor. With speeds reaching up to 40 mph, it’s an experience that’s equal parts thrilling and scenic.

Rider Requirements
To keep the ride safe and smooth, all zipliners must meet the following requirements:
- Weight limits: Between 90–275 lbs. (subject to change in windy conditions)
- Age requirement: Riders under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian – and at least one adult must ride with them.
- Physical requirements: Guests must be able to climb multiple flights of stairs to access the launch platform.
- Weather policy: The zipline may close during high winds or inclement weather for safety.

Tips for First-Time Riders
- Arrive early for cooler temps and shorter wait times.
- Wear secure, closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing.
- Remove any loose accessories like hats and sunglasses.
